Wren Middle students place in region, All-State bands

Every year thousands of middle school students throughout South Carolina audition for their respective Region Bands. The best students will make Region Band and only the top few are chosen for All state.

The following Wren Middle students won a spot in the 2010 Region and All-State Bands.



Jamie Hintson - 5th chair All-State Band

Jamie will attend the South Carolina All-State Band clinic at Furman University in March



Mary Elizabeth Bruner - 9th Chair Clarinet Region Band

Mairin Cotter - 23rd Chair Clarinet Region Band

Jacob Diede - 13th Chair Trumpet Region Band

Joshua Koury - 6th Chair Trumpet Region Band

Julianna Phillips - 3rd Chair Flute Region Band

These students will attend the Region 2 Band Clinic at Lexington High School on February 26 and 27.
