ANDERSON — The proposed budget changed only slightly from the second reading two weeks ago to the final approval Tuesday night. But in the end, council approved a $138 million budget, one that actually decreased about 7 percent from last year’s $149 million budget.

Council’s vote was 6-1, with Councilwoman Gracie Floyd casting the only opposing vote.

The vote came a few minutes after hearing from Interim Administrator Rusty Burns that Senior Solutions and Meals on Wheels’ funding will be fully reinstated.
